Your story

Antony is a sub-prefecture in the Hauts-de-Seine department, located South of Paris, 8km away from Porte d’Orléans and has a population of 62,000 people. Its vitality is reflected in its economic dynamism: more than 600 businesses, artisans, services, and many businesses are spread out over its territory.

Our project

What was life like during the 1930s in Antony? How did people get from there to Paris? What was unique about the city? The witnesses selected have shared their memories between the 1930s and 1950s on camera. Each episode relies on archives, recent photos, excerpts of interviews and background soundtrack to portray 8 different themes. The episodes were released gradually in order to create regular appointments with their viewers.
